Assembled Bomb kills NATO soldier in Afghanistan

Kabul (ANTARA/XINHUA-0ANA) - A soldier of International Security Assistance Force (ISAF)-led NATO was killed in a IED blast in Afghanistan on Friday, bringing the total number of victims to 26 during this month, NATO statement said.
"A member of the International Security Assistance Force were killed after a homemade bomb attack in southern Afghanistan today," said the statement.
However, the statement did not identify the nationality of victims, saying it is ISAF policy to defer victim identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.
Forces mostly from the U.S., Britain and Australia have been placed in the southern province of Afghanistan.
More than 560 soldiers with the majority of them Americans have been killed in Afghanistan since January this year.
Meanwhile in Trinkot, four civilians were reportedly killed and another wounded when a roadside bomb hit a vehicle in the southern Afghan province of Uruzgan on Friday, police said.
"A landmine planted by militants struck a civilian car outside the capital of Uruzgan province Trinkot at around 11:00 local time, killing four passengers and others injured," said deputy provincial police chief Gulab Khan told Xinhua.
Taliban insurgents fighting Afghan and foreign troops led by NATO has not made a comment.
A similar explosion occurred in the District of Kandahar Province Spinboldak, the former Taliban stronghold, killing one policeman and two others wounded on Thursday.
