Cantona calonkan diri jadi Presiden Prancis

PARIS - Former Manchester United striker Eric Cantona tried to gather enough support for the smooth stride forward into this year's French presidential election.

As reported by the World Game, Tuesday (10/01/2012), Cantona, who had invited people to empty their bank accounts to protest the global financial crisis, reported in writing has been seeking support to several mayors in France.

The 45-year-old man reportedly requires 500 signatures elected officials before the end of next month to run his campaign forward into the number one in France.

In a French newspaper also printed a copy of the letter sent to several mayors in France, where there is vision and mission of Cantona and his pledge to fight social inequality if given the opportunity to do so.

"I as a citizen in our era, that offer opportunities to young children and all citizens who feel the injustice is too much, too loud, too systematic," wrote Cantona who now serves as director of sports clubs United States, New York Cosmos.

"I am as committed citizens," he continued. "This engagement obliges me to speak, is more serious than usual, but also with a sense of my responsibility, at a time when we are faced with difficult choices," wrote Cantona again.

Along with the ability to process the ball, no doubt, a former French international is also famous for his entire career for the orthodox position in football, as well as an outspoken comments and antics that sometimes a little wild.

While playing for United, he never received a ban for a long time after the award of Kung-Fu kick on a Crystal Palace supporter in the stands, and he also never insulted former France coach Henri Michel directly from the television after losing the match.
