Liputan6.com, Jakarta: An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale (SR) shook southeastern Simeulue District, Aceh, on Saturday (14 / 1) at 3:03 pm. According to the Meteorology and Geophysics (BMKG), the earthquake was not a potential tsunami.
The epicenter was reported to be at 28 kilometers southeast of Simeulue, 169 kilometers southwest of South Aceh, or 303 km southwest of Medan, North Sumatra, as well as at a depth of 11 kilometers. (Ant / SHA)
