Myanmar's Four Main Suspects Arrested in Yangon Bombings Toilet

Yangon (ANTARA/Xinhua-0ANA) - Myanmar authorities have arrested four key suspects in connection with the bombing of a public toilet on December 21 in Yangon, where two women were killed, local media reports said Monday.

Four bombers, armed VBSW indicted members of the organization, who were arrested by local police forces in the border town of Myawaddy, where Thailand in collaboration with the Thai military intelligence and immigration authorities.

The four suspects - Kadone, Aung Ko Min Aung and Nay Myo Zaw Aung Thura - captured by some related evidence, said the Myanmar Posts.

All four will be brought to Yangon and submitted to the local police for further interrogation by the police Kamayut, said the report added.

Time-bomb explosion that occurred in public toilets in the complex University of Yangon, at the junction of the small town of Kamayut Hledan, first killing a woman and severely injuring several others. The wounded later died of his wounds in hospital.

The authorities stated that they were able to defuse the bomb another time after the explosion on that day.
