Australia's RBA May Rethink Bias if Budget Severe - Commsec

        0508 GMT [Dow Jones] Having kept rates on hold as expected Australia's central bank can now turn its attention to the conservative government's budget May 13, CommSec chief economist Craig James says. If the budget is as tough on spending as some suspect and consumer confidence is hard for a sustained period the Reserve Bank of Australia may consider reintroducing an easing bias, James says. Data earlier Tuesday from ANZ Bank and Roy Morgan Research shows confidence falling ahead of the budget. (james.glynn@wsj.com)
