0255 GMT [Dow Jones] The USD/TWD falls to a more than-two-week low, weighed down by selling from foreign investors, says a local trader. The pair is at 30.123, lower than the 30.155 traded before the local central bank's suspected intervention Friday, which lifted it to 30.212 at the close of onshore trading. Volume is thin as markets in Japan and South Korea are shut for holiday, with one trader tipping the pair to trade in a 30.100-30.150 band for the session. The pair will seek cues from the local stock market (the Taiex is down 0.1%), as foreign investors turned net buyers of NT$9.3 billion worth of local stocks on Friday, the trader says.
