Military Thailand: Bangkok blast suspect Not Cooperative

Thailand's army chief said the men were arrested in connection with the explosion of Bangkok on uncooperative.

Foreign man named Adem Karadag, who is currently detained in a military facility Thailand, was arrested on Saturday morning in a house in the east of Bangkok.

Investigator calls contained bomb-making equipment and a passport at the place of arrest.

"Interrogations are not developed because the suspect does not provide useful information," said Gen. Udomdej Sitabutr told AFP on Sunday (08/30/2015).

"We have to do the interrogation again and make him cooperative, but still be careful not to violate the rights of suspects," he continued.

Explosions in the area Erawan Shrine in Bangkok on August 17 was the worst attack by the biggest victims in Thailand. A total of 20 people were killed, most of them are foreign tourists ethnic Chinese.

The suspect is known from Turkey renting a room in Poon-Anad, in Nong Chok district. The arrest was made after about 100 police and soldiers surrounded the apartment Thailand on Saturday at 1:30 local time.
