Former NFL QB Brady Quinn calls out TMZ for fake 'exclusive' - TMZ.com was called out by former NFL quarterback Brady Quinn on Friday after the gossip website ran an "exclusive" that alleged Quinn said he would have made more money playing baseball than football.

Quinn quickly took to Twitter to shut down TMZ's claims, calling the article "erroneous" and stating he had never spoken to TMZ.

The story in question disappeared from TMZ's site. However, the article, titled “Brady Quinn: I Would Have Made More Money Playing Baseball,” can still be read at the Google Cache link.

Ironically, Quinn works as an analyst for Fox Sports 1, which falls under the same parent company as TMZ.

Quinn was a hot NFL commodity coming out of Notre Dame and was drafted in the first round by the Browns of the 2007 NFL Draft. However, he didn't get much playing time during his three years in Cleveland and bounced among the Broncos, Chiefs, Seahawks, Jets, Rams and Dolphins before becoming a football analyst in 2014.
