Dez Bryant Needs Surgery

Dez Bryant placed on IR, will undergo surgery again - The Dallas Cowboys announced on Wednesday that wide receiver Dez Bryant is being placed on injured reserve and shut down for the season.
Head coach Jason Garrett told reporters that Bryant will need another surgery on his foot in addition to ankle surgery. He claimed the decision to close the book on Bryant’s season has nothing to do with the Cowboys being out of the playoff hunt.

Bryant has not looked like the same player since he returned from a fractured foot in Week 8, though it is difficult to say if his lack of production has been injury-related or due to poor quarterback play with Tony Romo out. In any event, Bryant did not catch more than five passes in a game after coming back and topped 100 yards receiving just once.
