Kim Kardashian Kimoji Breaks Apple’s App Store As Downloads Cause Crash - Kim Kardashian nearly broke Apple’s app store on Monday, as downloads of her new KIMOJI app crashed the service.

The new app features Kardashian-inspired emojis. That includes a recreation of her infamous crying face, a selfie pose, a peach meant to represent her derriere, and much more. The reality star has been promoting itseemingly non-stop since the release on Monday, and so many consumers have attempted to buy it at the same time that Apple’s servers became overloaded.

Kardashian tweeted on Monday afternoon, “Apple, I’m so sorry I broke your App Store!!!” She went on, “I can’t believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store! We worked so hard on this app & we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!”

After assuring fans that the KIMOJI app would be “up and running again soon,” Kardashian again exclaimed, “Ahhhhhhhh I still can’t believe we broke the entire App Store!!!!” By Monday night, the app unsurprisingly ranked number one on Apple’s chart, even as some people struggled to download it. “I know the App Store is still working hard to fix everyone’s app,” insisted Kardashian.

Even momager Kris Jenner addressed the hysteria, tweeting, “I think the Apple App Store is overwhelmed but hang in there it’s worth is!!!!!!!!!”
