Nicki Minaj's brother 'charged with raping 12-year-old – three months after his wedding' - TMZ, who credit their source as Newsday, are claiming that Mr Minaj has been charged with the rape just three months after his wedding.

The multiple US reports are stating that the Anaconda star's 37-year-old sibling was charged in New York's Long Island and freed from Nassau County jail this week after bail was set at $100,000.

It is not currently known when the exact date of the incident is supposed to have happened or any other details.

Nicki was last seen photographed with her brother at his wedding ceremony, posting snapshots on Instagram of her arms around him.

On the day, the rapper – who will star in a movie as a hair stylist next year – shared several photos from the event of the pair looking close.

She captioned one pics: "I would cross the ocean for u. I would go & bring u the moon. Promise u. For u I will. I love my brother so much man.

"Can't believe I cried during his wedding and his first dance like a punk. May God bless him and his union.

"Tonight has been one of my favourite nights of all time. I do anything to see my brother's smile."

Nicki – real name Onika Maraj – has not yet commented on the news.
