The Cowboys got a lot of credit in the media for taking a risk on Gregory in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Now they're seeing some of the drawbacks to their gamble.

This news might come at an inconvenient time for Dallas. The Cowboys are looking light at defensive end with three players, including Greg Hardy, scheduled to be unrestricted free agents.

The 2016 NFL schedule isn't known yet but it's possible the Eagles and Cowboys could play in the first four weeks. They played each other in Week 2 last year.
