Hillary Clinton: Adele Is My Go-To Voice
Hillary Clinton: Adele Is My Go-To Voice - Hillary Clinton sat down with SiriusXM while in Miami to discuss, among other things, her taste in music. The presidential candidate praised Adele and noted her love for classic rock while in conversation with Miami Beach's mayor Philip Levine.

During their conversation, Levine asked Clinton what she would play on her hypothetical radio show. Clinton noted how she grew up on classic rock and how she would play the genre for her audience. She went on to add that there would be "a lot of women singers" like Adele and Sheryl Crow. "I'm currently into Adele. That is my go-to voice," she explained. "I have such a huge admiration for her skills, her abilities and her personality."

Clinton is also a fan of classical music and revealed that she listens to it when she's working because of how "soothing" classical music is to her. "You're doing a lot of paperwork. You're trying to get through it. You don't have to listen to the lyrics," she said with a laugh. "It really is a way of taking it all in."

Also during her sit-down with Levine, Clinton spoke about the immense influence her mother has had on her. She detailed her mother's resilience after dealing with neglectful parents and working as a maid. "When I think about anything being hard or challenging, I think, well, my mother went through a lot worse, and she really came out of it with a big heart," she said. "Not embittered, not angry, but always trying to figure out how she can help other people and I think that has motivated me ... I think about her all the time."

Clinton also noted how her mother had lived with her and her husband for the last 10 years of her life and how she had been a big influence on her daughter Chelsea.
