Cheung Kong, Hutch Ex-Dividend Shed 76 Points off HSI Today

        0201 GMT [Dow Jones] Cheung Kong (0001.HK) and Hutchison Whampoa (0013.HK) will shed 76 points off the Hang Seng Index today as they go ex-dividend. Today is the ex-date for the HK$7 per share special dividend of both Li Ka Shing-controlled companies, which make up around 5.8% of the Hang Seng Index. Both stocks were recently down more than HK$7, with the Hang Seng Index down 30 points as gains for financials and Tencent (0700.HK) help offset the drag from Cheung Kong and Hutchison.
