0905 GMT [Dow Jones]--U.K. 1Q GDP growth has been confirmed at 0.8% by the ONS in its second estimate. Broken down by the expenditure component, U.K. households were the biggest drivers of growth, contributing 0.5 percentage points to the 1Q number. Government consumption and net trade made little to no contribution to growth although changes in inventories had a positive impact, having been a headwind in the final quarter of 2013.
