Philippine Central Bank May Lift Bank Reserve Ratio After CPI -ANZ

        0308 GMT [Dow Jones] "We expect further monetary tightening on May 8 with another 100 bps hike in [banks'] reserve-requirement ratio taking the RRR to 20%," ANZ Bank says in a note Tuesday. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas indicated in a statement it is ready to adjust policy levers to ensure domestic liquidity growth doesn't undermine financial stability or the inflation outlook. The central bank earlier in May raised the RRR a percentage point to siphon around $1.3 billion in excess liquidity.
