0723 GMT [Dow Jones] Indonesia's headline inflation rate eased to 7.25% in April from 7.32% last month helped by a softening in the prices of chilli, an essential component of Indonesian daily diets. Prices of rice, the staple food, also fell 0.62% from a month ago. Wellian Wiranto, an economist at OCBC Bank expects the inflation rate to dip further in the coming months given the considerable base effect from last year's fuel price hike. The headline inflation rate should average a rate below 4.5% in 2H compared with a rate of 7.5% in 1H. (neelabh.chaturvedi@wsj.com)
