Can you solve this fruit brain teaser stumping the Internet? - Pictures of fruit and elementary school-level math may remind many adults of their early school days especially after a children's brain teaser is stumping thousands across the globe, ABC News reported.

If you guessed that the answer is 16, you're wrong.

SPOILERS BELOW!!!!

The trick is to look at the value of each individual fruit in the picture as opposed to the entire fruit (so a single banana versus a bunch).

The top line clearly identifies an apple as being equal to 10, but then in the next line an apple is placed with two groups of bananas.

A bunch of bananas is coupled with two half coconuts in the next line.

By splitting up the number of individual fruits in the final line, the equation doesn't end as neatly as most expect.

Since there's only one half coconut and three bananas rather than the four used in the previous banana segments, the final answer is actually 14 (One apple is worth 10 points, a single banana equals 1 point and a single coconut totals 1 point).
