Putting her own spin on Bowie's original look, which included an orange mullet and pastel blue eyeshadow to match his suit, Gaga opted for a waist-length bright orange wig that was brushed back off of her face. Needless to say, Gaga and her blazing red hair stood out at what was, for the most part, an elegant-yet-safe fashion parade, as stylists were determined not to let their clients rile up the fashion police. Even before the Grammys, Lady Gaga, who gave a tribute performance to the icon at the show, revealed a tattoo of her idol on her side. The Applause singer showed off her new ink just days before she remembers the late star at this year's ceremony, one month after his death. "This was the image that changed my life", adding "Hail Mary full of grace Saint Bowie". Earlier in the week, Gaga paid the ultimate tribute to Bowie with a Ziggy Stardust tattoo of the musician by L.A. artist Mark Mahoney. "She's flawless for it".
