Manziel clears waivers, free to sign with any team - Johnny Manziel is free to sign with any team, if anyone will have him.
The troubled former Cleveland Browns quarterback cleared waivers Saturday, a person with access to the NFL's internal transaction wire told USA TODAY Sports.

The Browns waived Manziel on Friday.

The Browns couldn’t trade him and the nearly $2.2 million in guarantees remaining on his contract.
