A tiger cub was spotted weaving through traffic on a busy Doha, Qatar highway on Tuesday.
It is unclear where the tiger came from, but several photos show a man in white robes holding the animal by a chain once he was captured.
Sultan Al-Qassemi wrote on Twitter, "This obsession of keeping wild animals by rich kids in the Gulf has gone too far."
It is illegal to keep a tiger as a pet in Qatar and social media users were quick to point out the owner would be in trouble once images started surfacing.

"We assure everyone that the authorities are following what has been circulating (on social media) regarding a tiger being seen in specific areas of the country," the organization tweeted.
After videos and images of the tiger's appearance started circulating, a spoof Twitter account "Doha Tiger" was posting about the incident.
The account was originally created back in 2010.
The first tweet from the tiger read, "Yeah folks I am back."
"I was looking for a snack," Doha Tiger tweeted along with an image of the animal peeking underneath a truck.
The account also retweeted an image of "Tony the Tiger" — the Kellogg's Frosted Flakes spokestiger — with the text, "big fan! paws up...sorry...thumbs up!"
