Excite X10, Toshiba's Super-Thin Tablet

LAS VEGAS - Toshiba may not be number one for the affairs of the tablet, but the Japanese electronics company is to enliven the market with Excite X10 tablet which was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012.

This tablet has a level of super thinness of 7.7 millimeters, thinner than the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, and have been using Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). So proclaimed Know Your Mobile on Monday (01/09/2012).

Tablets which seem able to resist the Eee Pad Transformer, has a 10.1-inch screen size, and pinned behind the kitchen runway processor TI OMAP 4430 dual core 1.2 GHz speed.

According to TechCrunch, the Toshiba tablet, comes with 1GB of RAM size, and some of his own creation software. The software includes a media player of its own, Toshiba's File Manager, Netflix, and QuickOffice.

Regarding the news release, Know Your Mobile said there has been no news about the release of this device in the UK. Meanwhile, TechCrunch reported that these devices will likely be shipped in mid-first quarter, with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, or slower again with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
