High Heels does affect the condition of the fetus of pregnant women?

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, MAKASSAR - Wearing high-heeled shoes or high heels are going to make women appear more confident. But what about if the pregnant women who often wear high heels? Is it the custom of wearing high heels can affect the fetus in the womb of the mother?

According to Dr. Nasruddin AM SpOG, a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, the use of shoes or sandals (high heels) in pregnancy had no impact or effect on the fetus. Unfavorable influences on the fetus is not actually, but the condition of the uterus where the fetus develops.

"Shoes or sandals are high causing changes in anatomy and physiology of muscle and nerve stimulation which in turn affects the lower limbs in the womb," said Nasruddin who is also Deputy Dean of the Faculty III University Kedoktern Muslim Indonesia Makassar.

Common complaint that can be felt is the contraction of the uterus or recurrent spinal pain.

Well, if this is allowed it will trigger the threat of miscarriage or premature labor. However, this condition does not automatically happen, too heavily dependent pregnant woman's physical condition.
