0248 GMT [Dow Jones] Thailand's baht is weaker Thursday, falling as low as 32.48 against the U.S. dollar from a previous closing of 32.38, a day after caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra was removed from her post. The Thai Constitutional Court had ruled Wednesday that Yingluck abused power in 2011. Anxious investors are selling the baht as followers of the deposed prime minister plan a mass rally on Saturday in Bangkok. The daily chart suggests more baht weakness may follow if USD/THB closes above the top of the Ichimoku Cloud resistance zone at 32.54. USD/THB is now at 32.43 from its opening level of 32.38.
