Drama Trailer Trans-Gender 'The Danish Girl' starring Eddie Redmayne

After seizing the trophy for best actor Oscar last year thanks to The Theory of Everything, Eddie Redmayne great opportunity to return to compete in this category, because he gets more challenging roles in subsequent movies. In The Danish Girl, Redmayne as Lily Elbe, Danish artists of the 1920s who became the first female trans-gender.

Inspired by a true story and the adaptation of the novel by David Ebershoff, the film experienced a long process. Rumored to be starring Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman, the role switch at Redmayne and a new star, Alicia Vikander. The film will re-unite Redmayne with director Tom Hooper (The King's Speech) after Les Miserables.

This trailer reveals a bit of the film story, where Elle who was once a man named Einar Wegener pure life with his wife, Gerda Gottlieb (Vikander) who are fellow artists. Einar then realized that his identity is not in accordance with what the identity from birth.
