Anton Grady Injury: Updates on Wichita State Forward's Head and Return - Wichita State forward Anton Grady suffered a head injury during Friday's game against Alabama and was taken to the hospital. There is no timeline for his return.

Continue for updates.

Jon Rothstein reported Grady's MRI came back negative for spinal trauma, and will undergo physical therapy in the next few days.

Rothstein reported Grady may still be in the hospital when the Shockers play Iowa on Sunday.

According to Sunflower Sports' Evan Pflugradt, Grady took an incidental elbow to the face that bent his neck back before he hit the floor. Per KAKE's Shane Ewing, Grady's face hit the floor, and he did not move as trainers attended to him.

Pflugradt showed Grady being attended to as he was carted off the court on a stretcher:

After the game, Pflugradt provided updates from Wichita head coach Gregg Marshall, who said Grady was conscious but not moving and that he had little feeling in his extremities.

Grady, a senior, has averaged 10.5 points per game through four games this season, with 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 block.

With these types of injuries, basketball is the farthest thing from what's important here, as his safety and well-being are the main focus.
