Bill Belichick, Coy About Black Eye

PHOTO: Belichick sports swollen eye at press conference - Bill Belichick looked a little different than usual when meeting with members of the local media Tuesday.

The New England Patriots coach arrived at his press conference with his left eye appearing to be both swollen and somewhat bruised.

"I don't think we need to list the coaches on the injury report," Belichick said in his typical stoic demeanor, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN. "But I'm sure if we're required to do it, we'll do it."

While the football world will certainly be curious as to how Belichick landed himself the apparent shiner, the chances of him disclosing that information are slim to none.
