Australia Job Ads Point to Strength - Seek

        0036 GMT [Dow Jones] New job ads in Australia rose 2.8% quarter over quarter in April, according to employment-search company Seek. "Toward the end of 2013 we saw signs that the labor market was showing strong confidence. It's been encouraging to see the continuation of that" as is a correction in a two-speed economy with nonmining states driving employment opportunities, Seek managing director Joe Powell says.(james.glynn@wsj.com)
