Bad News on Labor Force Participation Rate

        08:38 EDT - Businesses are hiring again--but that didn't draw more people into the labor force. Instead, only 62.8% of working age adults are either working or looking for a job, returning the labor force participation back to a three-decade low. If those people were in the labor pool, the unemployment rate would probably be much higher than 6.7%. (kathleen.madigan@wsj.com)
