China Trade Figures to Better Reflect Reality After May -ANZ

        0342 GMT [Dow Jones] Uncertainties lie ahead for China trade over the next few months, ANZ economists say, though clarity is coming. While the official PMI edged up recently, the contracts signed at a major trade fair dropped significantly. The Cantonese Trade Fair, China's biggest international trade fair, saw a 12.6% decline in orders from major partners on year, the organizer said in a statement on its website Monday. "China's trade figures will become more reflective of reality after May, the very month when Chinese authorities started to crack down [on] fake invoicing last year," ANZ says in a note.
