TV Reporter and Cameraman Shot Dead in Virginia

A gunman shot an American television crew when delivered direct report Wednesday morning, killing two people.

The man - dressed all in black - walked over, a gun and opened fire when reporters and cameramen were interviewing a woman at a shopping center near the city of Roanoke, in the southwestern state of Virginia.

The local television station, WDBJ, said journalist and cameraman were killed while the women interviewed - a local businessman - were injured.

The gunman fled, and there is no other information about who and why he attacked a TV crew interview took place during a routine news.

Roanoke city located in the state of Virginia, about 375 kilometers from the city of Washington DC.

The television station identified the victim as a reporter named Alison Parker, 24 years old, and a cameraman named Adam Ward, aged 27 years.
